Frankfurter Kaffeerösterei
A coffee roastery's storefront, rebuilt live
A German coffee roaster outgrew what stock WooCommerce could do, so we built past it without disturbing live customer data.

What they came to us with.
Frankfurter Kaffeerösterei sells roasted coffee online. Stock WooCommerce got the store trading, then stopped being enough. Customers could not filter the catalogue the way people actually shop for coffee, and the team could not change page content without asking a developer.
The harder constraint was the store itself. It was live, it had customers and their records could not be put at risk by a rebuild.
What we built.
We built the new storefront on staging and moved it across in one controlled cut. The live store kept selling the whole time.
Product filtering was written for this roastery rather than bolted on from a plugin. Content blocks were rebuilt in ACF so the team edits its own pages.
- Custom WooCommerce product filtering
- ACF content blocks the team edits directly
- Staging environment mirroring live
- Controlled cutover with no downtime
- Storefront UX rebuilt around the catalogue
What changed.
No customer records were lost in the move. The store runs on a WooCommerce build that goes past what the platform does out of the box, and the roastery updates its own content.
A modern WooCommerce storefront with custom filtration, dynamic content management and a safe staging-based rollout that protected existing customer data.
