What they came to us with.
S-Line has moved freight since 2003. Its website was a brochure. It described the company and did nothing else.
A customer with cargo in transit wants two answers. Where is it, and what will the next one cost. A static site gives neither.
What we built.
We rebuilt the front end in React with Tailwind CSS and put both answers on the site. Shipments are tracked in the browser in real time. Quotations are generated instantly rather than routed through the office.
Hosting moved to OVHCloud in the same project, which took 40% off the running cost.
- React front end, built component by component
- Real-time shipment tracking in the browser
- Instant online quotation tool
- Tailwind CSS design system
- OVHCloud hosting, 40% cheaper to run
What changed.
The site now does work the office used to absorb. Customers track their own shipments and price their own routes, and a business trading since 2003 has a web presence that matches it.
Replaced a static site with real-time shipment tracking and an instant online quotation tool, while cutting hosting costs 40% through OVHCloud.
